Massive Flood in Bhotekoshi River

A flood in Bhotekoshi River swept away 15 more houses in Sindhupalchok district on Saturday. According to Dibya Raj Paudel, Head of Department Humanitarian Values and Communications, the flood washed away 12 houses in Tatopani and three houses in Liping of the district. With this, the number of houses swept away by the floods in the Bhotekoshi River has reached 52. Paudel informed that the flood also swept away an Ncell tower in Kodari. He added that the water level in the river has not decreased yet. Meanwhile, the Nepal Red Cross Society Sindhupalchok Chapter distributed relief to the flood and landslide victims in Tatopani, Naya Basti and Bahrabise areas.
