Deputy Prime Minister Bimalendra Nidhi on Saturday called on Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi. Nidhi, one of the influential leaders of Nepali Congress and second man of the incumbent Pushpa Kamal Dahal-led government, is currently in New Delhi the special envoy of PM Dahal. During the meeting, Nidhi told Modi that implementation of the Constitution accommodating aspirations of all people would be the top priority of government, the New Delhi-based Embassy of Nepal informed in a statement after the meeting. The Deputy Prime Minister also shared his expectation that India would continue supporting Nepal in the latter’s socio-economic development projects. In response, Modi said India would be ready to support Nepal on the basis of the priorities identified by the Nepal government, the statement added.
